Hekkingen lighthouse

We start this tour from Sommarøy camping and together we cross over the ocean to Hekkingen lighthouse – one of the oldest in Norway and an important landmark for all sailors on route to Tromsø. It is situated in the Malangen fjord, on the coast of Senja and just 12-15 minutes by RIB from Sommarøy.

The lighthouse was first lit on the 24. Septembre in 1859 and was manned untill 2005.
